Manic Monday

Sadly the weekend is over! And it's another Monday. Our weekend was great.  Mr. M didn't have to work, so the babes got to hang with him.  All the corn and beans are nestled in the ground.  Our new hayfield is sowed and we will hopefully start baling some grass hay soon.  The dry spell was much needed around here and many farmers got their crops out finally.  But now they are calling for 5 days of rain.  The weather was really great yesterday.  It wasn't unusually warm and there was a nice breeze all day.
The county fair crunch will begin now.  Saturday was the queen contest.  And projects start going in today.  Then next week is all the livestock shows and buildings being open for the county residence to come and see what the kids have done.  Tonight is our last 4-H meeting for the year.  I'm not sure where the time has gone.  This time next year we will have two 4-Her's.  Hard to believe how fast the summer is going by.  Time could slow down just a little.  I would like to enjoy a few things with the babes before they once again are gone every day at school.  I am again this year donating my time to take photos at the county fair, so I should have pictures of that to share later next week. I hope everyone has a wonderful and productive week ahead.
