Things are going good around the farm. We got through county fair and state fair. We are getting good cutting of hay. The calves look good and are healthy. We set a few embryos and Nugent is taking care of the rest.

Mahlia has her first day of school tommorrow and Garrett and the boys start on Wednesday. We stay busy with the kids, cattle and chickens. We will be in the fields before we know it.

And the most exciting thing is I am an aunt again. My brother and his wife welcomed a beautiful little girl into their family in July.

God has truely blessed us with good health and wonderful family and friends around us.

This is the newest addition to the farm. His name is Nugent. He is a simmental bull we purchased in Liberty, IN. He is a little over a year old and is running with his first set of cows. We will have babies out of him this spring. We can't wait to see what he produces.

This is what happens when you go to State Fair. You end up sleeping in a chair. This is our nephew Tyler. He and his younger brother Cody showed heifers. Cody got Reserve Champion Jr. Showman.
