<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
Yesterday I made a comment on FB and it gots some feedback.</div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
So I'll share with the blogger family too.</div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
Before we know it the calves that will be arriving!</div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
Calving can be messy business as with any baby delivery.</div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
Sometimes there is that case where I have to help a momma out.</div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
Pulling calves is a wet, bloody event.</div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
Having the proper work wear can be costly.</div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
There are those times when the clothes your wearing don't survive.</div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
So a few years ago I came up with a solution.</div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
I went to Goodwill and got scrub pants.</div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
They are great! And they don't cost that much.</div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
I wear yoga or dry fit pants with my scrubs most of calving season.</div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
Yes I have water proof wash pants. And I have used those over the scrubs.</div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
But occasionally the noise from those can freak the cows or a first calver out.</div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
The best part for me is the pockets. </div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
I can put chains, syringes and gloves in them and they are right there clean.</div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
Not too mention they are comfy and easy to move around in.</div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
I mean sometimes your on your tush bending and moving in ways that bibs don't allow.</div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
Then when I'm done all I have to do is throw them in the washing machine.</div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
Once they are too stained or torn I just throw them away.</div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
Let's face it for $4.00 I will get my monies worth.</div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
So while most people relate scrubs to Dr.s, hospitals and vets I use them here in my OB unit.</div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
I mean I like our babies to be born in a nice clean environment too.</div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
They are not just cattle to us.</div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
</div>

<br /></div>
<div align="center">
I said I was going to blog more and it's been a few weeks.</div>
<div align="center">
It's far from intentional. It's that time of the year where so much is going on.</div>
<div align="center">
But with raising babes, cattle, crops and fur kids it's always busy.</div>
<div align="center">
I'm sitting here with so many thoughts and ideas of things I want to share with all of you.</div>
<div align="center">
<br /></div>
<div align="center">
The biggest and most exciting thing is something that is changing my as a momma, wife and photographer.</div>
<div align="center">
Sounds scary I know. And it was at first. But now we embracing this new journey.</div>
<div align="center">
Back in April my best guy friend Dave Vansickle at <a href="http://vansicklecattlecompany/">http://vansicklecattlecompany</a> contacted me.</div>
<div align="center">
He told me he found the thing for me combining both my love for cattle and photography.</div>
<div align="center">
Ya right. So I listened and thought about it. It was a posting for livestock photography.</div>
<div align="center">
So I took a leap and applied. I went to Texas for a Ranch House clinic.</div>
<div align="center">
I came home to an email. Welcome the <a href="http://livestockpromotions/">http://livestockpromotions</a> family.</div>
<div align="center">
Say what. I couldn't believe what I was reading. So started the journey.</div>
<div align="center">
After a few web seminars, a few on farm helping in the picture pen and then a trip to Nebraska I was ready.</div>
<div align="center">
<br /></div>
<div align="center">
Working with B.J. Eick and Marlene Eick has been so great.</div>
<div align="center">
The man is amazing at what he does. He's patient, kind and a true talent.</div>
<div align="center">
I have learned more about cattle. About lighting and how it effects my pictures.</div>
<div align="center">
I have learned how to work with people and how to let them know what I need to get them what they need.</div>
<div align="center">
I have learned how to take a photo of cattle with little editing.</div>
<div align="center">
How to move cattle in a picture/video pen. Then to make that video a work of art.</div>
<div align="center">
Most of all PATIENCE. For myself, the cattle and the people helping.</div>
<div align="center">
<br /></div>
<div align="center">
So the biggest thing for me this year has been this challenge do two things I love.</div>
<div align="center">
Work with cattle and photography.</div>
<div align="center">
For me that is a life goal. One that I hope to learn from every time I walk onto someones farm.</div>
<div align="center">
I'm excited for the opportunity, the experience. And the peole I'm meeting along the way.</div>
<div align="center">
<br /></div>

<div align="center">
This is my favorite from training. These are the kind of picture's Im excited about taking!</div>

Hey Everyone!</div>
<div align="center">
I know it's been forever and a day since you have seen anything out of me.</div>
<div align="center">
I took a break to be with my babies and enjoy some new things that are happening.</div>
<div align="center">
Now that things are slowing down for the winter I'll catch you all up and get back to blogger world.</div>
<div align="center">
<br /></div>

<br /></div>
<div align="center">
The school year is coming to an end. </div>
<div align="center">
It's hard to be believe that a whole school year has went by already.</div>
<div align="center">
This Thursday is the last day.</div>
<div align="center">
Then we will have a 5th grader. </div>
<div align="center">
I can't believe I'm saying this, and a 7th grader in junior high.</div>
<div align="center">
<br /></div>
<div align="center">
<br /></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="http://3.bp.blogspot.com/-0kFoIRMQMXo/UZpxjGx1jRI/AAAAAAAAEz8/JPP_NRoL_cE/s1600/babies4.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="320" src="http://3.bp.blogspot.com/-0kFoIRMQMXo/UZpxjGx1jRI/AAAAAAAAEz8/JPP_NRoL_cE/s320/babies4.jpg" width="212" ya="true" /></a></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div align="center">
The Little Mister had a tour of the junior high last week and loved it.</div>
<div align="center">
Tonight we get to go and see where he will be going to classes and spending his day.</div>
<div align="center">
On Friday he came home and said they had to fill out a paper about what they wanted to do.</div>
<div align="center">
He chose Architect, and two other things.</div>
<div align="center">
But he said he was upset because farmer/rancher wasn't on there because they don't consider that a career.</div>
<div align="center">
WHAT! The Mister and I were both shocked.</div>
<div align="center">
So evidently the fact that we farm and raise livestock is not a way to make a living.</div>
<div align="center">
Not only that but the fact that the Mister works for Pioneer which is an Agricultural company.</div>
<div align="center">
<br /></div>
<div align="center">
There are so many things wrong with the fact that Farming/Ranching was not on there.</div>
<div align="center">
Who is going to grow the foods we all eat everyday. </div>
<div align="center">
That are so readily available at the local grocery.</div>
<div align="center">
Who is going to be the stewards of our land.</div>
<div align="center">
Who is going to raise our livestock.</div>
<div align="center">
Who is going to work from sun up to sun down.</div>
<div align="center">
Who is going to work their butts of come sun, rain, snow or whatever God has in store.</div>
<div align="center">
Not too many people!</div>
<div align="center">
<br /></div>
<div align="center">
So any way. I can't wait for Thursday.</div>
<div align="center">
The babes will be home with me.</div>
<div align="center">
We will get to do some things around here.</div>
<div align="center">
Plus we may take a day trip here and there.</div>
<div align="center">
We also have county fair to get ready for. So there will be lots of barn time!</div>
<div align="center">
<br /></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="http://1.bp.blogspot.com/-LMxrmPFX9ss/UZpycIFJjlI/AAAAAAAAE0I/H1RF4ZBQW0M/s1600/untitled-4-6.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="320" src="http://1.bp.blogspot.com/-LMxrmPFX9ss/UZpycIFJjlI/AAAAAAAAE0I/H1RF4ZBQW0M/s320/untitled-4-6.jpg" width="240" ya="true" /></a></div>

<br /></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
Lily is a one of a kind.</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
She was our Little Misters show heifer 2010-11.</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
She was shown at state and national levels and won many times.</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
She is more like a pet than one of our cows.</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
She's the one who comes to you and still likes to be pet and brushed.</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
She's a momma for the second time around.</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
She did a bang up job with this babe, which we are excited about.</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
Soon she will go to the donor pen to be flushed and I will be nervous till she comes home.</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">

At the end of Mach my very good friend Dave Vansickle of Vansickle Cattle Co. tagged me in a attachment on Facebook. Later he texted me and ask if I saw it. I said I had and he asked if I was going to do it. Well here is what the attachment said:<br />
<br />
Apply to become one of our Livestock Promotions Network Photographers. We provide training, so all skill levels are encouraged to apply. Deadline is April 20. Check out today's blog post to learn more.<br />
<br />
So I read it and later I talked to the Mister. He said go for it. And I thought what the heck why not. I love cattle, I love taking pictures and I love talking to people. So I filled out the questions on the application. Then i picked out my pictures that they asked for, for examples. Off the application went. Then i went to Texas for five days for a Ranch House Designs clinic. And I highly recommend if you want to learn, have fun and promote your farm/ranch/cattle it is great! So anyway I forgot about it for a bit. Then I got home and didn't hear anything.. No biggie I tried that's all I can do.<br />
<br />
Well, a little over a week ago I opened my email and I saw one from Livestock Promotions, Inc. So i opened it and it says "Welcome To The Livestock Promotions Family"! Say what... so i read it again. Yep that's what is said. So in my excitement I called the Mister. He was in a meeting so I told him to call me pronto. It was true. Out of several applicants they picked four and i was one of the four!<br />
<br />
I am completely excited about this adventure. I get to do something i love to do. Take pictures, take pictures of cattle, meet new people and do a little traveling. My family and my friends have been so wonderfully supportive. I cannot believe that all the things that i have been through in the last 2 years has led to something so wonderful. I will be doing what a love at a job that i know that i will love!<br />
<br />
So to those of you that have a goal or a dream. Don't give up just keeping working, praying and doing what you love to do. Because all good things come to those wait and have a great support team!<br />
<br />
<br />

<br /></div>
<div align="center">
I want to share with you a story that my son came home with from school.</div>
<div align="center">
I would like to say first and foremost that I am not making fun of anyone.</div>
<div align="center">
I am repeating the story from our 12 year old son.</div>
<div align="center">
<br /></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="http://3.bp.blogspot.com/-Vf00aHvh8Lc/UY0Y8z4EiZI/AAAAAAAAEys/jTNVULh6hH8/s1600/untitled-57.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="320" mwa="true" src="http://3.bp.blogspot.com/-Vf00aHvh8Lc/UY0Y8z4EiZI/AAAAAAAAEys/jTNVULh6hH8/s320/untitled-57.jpg" width="212" /></a></div>
<div align="center">
<br /></div>
<div align="center">
So as always I ask the babes how their day at school was.</div>
<div align="center">
The Little Mister just looks and me and shakes his head.</div>
<div align="center">
I'm like okay what happened.</div>
<div align="center">
Today two older ladies came to school today to talk to us about farming.</div>
<div align="center">
They were talking about calves. I'm not sure what kind of cows they are raising, but they don't know much.</div>
<div align="center">
So I ask why he would say that.</div>
<div align="center">
<br /></div>
<div align="center">
Well, they said they don't give their calves any shots till after they are a month old.</div>
<div align="center">
He proceeds to tell me that he thinks they must have a lot of sick cows, because everyone knows you have to give newborn calves shots to keep them healthy and from getting cocidiouses.</div>
<div align="center">
Plus we spray our calves navels to keep them from getting infected.</div>
<div align="center">
<br /></div>
<div align="center">
Then mom they tell us that when you tag them you need 3 people.</div>
<div align="center">
He says, well that's just stupid!</div>
<div align="center">
My mom tags them by herself all the time. </div>
<div align="center">
<br /></div>
<div align="center">
Mom then they tell us how all cows are mean and you should not bother them when they calve.</div>
<div align="center">
Well mom how do they think your gonna help if you don't bother them.</div>
<div align="center">
Silly ladies don't they know that if you have a mean cow, you take her to Producers because you just don't keep mean cows. Especially when your mom does it by herself when dads at work.</div>
<div align="center">
<br /></div>
<div align="center">
The Little Mister just shook his head.</div>
<div align="center">
Mom they should have had you come to school.</div>
<div align="center">
You know way more about cows than those ladies.</div>
<div align="center">
You could probably tell them how to pull them and breed them too.</div>
<div align="center">
Who knows what they do about that!</div>
<div align="center">
<br /></div>

Fairs, swimming, hanging out and much less sleep!<br />

I hope you all are having a great spring.<br />

<br /></div>
<div align="center">
I have been home bound a lot lately.</div>
<div align="center">
<br /></div>
<div align="center">
<br /></div>

<div align="center">
<br /></div>
<div align="center">
One of the jobs I do during calving time is I check cows, a LOT.</div>
<div align="center">
I'm okay with that. I'm becoming more and more of a homebody.</div>
<div align="center">
So while I'm home I have gotten lots done.</div>
<div align="center">

<div align="center">
I redid the living room. I am so in love with how it turned out.</div>
<div align="center">
I have kept up with dishes, laundry and housework in general.</div>
<div align="center">
I've done a few small projects. I feel like I'm nesting waiting on these calves.</div>
<div align="center">
The best part is I will be all ready when Spring does decide to arrive.</div>

Then I will be ready to spend all my time outside!</div>

<br /></div>
<div align="center">
The babies have started coming on a regular basis.</div>
<div align="center">
We should be done by the end of April with all of them.</div>
<div align="center">
Even though they are not done we are planning what the mommas will be rebred too.</div>
<div align="center">
For those of you that follow us on Facebook have seen these.</div>
<div align="center">
<br /></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">

<div align="center">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
We actually had some sunshine the day that I took these.</div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
The calves were all out soaking it up.</div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
This is Ila, she was the first born. And boy was she zonked!</div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">

<br />
<div align="center">
Monster, he is the only bull calf we have so far.</div>

He and Ila are half brother/sister.</div>

<div align="center">
</div>
<div align="center">
Miss Dahlia. She is our Little Ladies baby.</div>
<div align="center">
She reminds us of a baby lamb with all her curly hair.</div>

She has a ton of personality to go with her cuteness.</div>
<div align="center">
<br /></div>

<br /></div>

<br />
<br />
<div align="center" style="text-align: center;">
Miss Decarlo is our two toned baby.</div>
<div align="center" style="text-align: center;">
She is black with a brown strip from tail across her belly and up to her chin.</div>
<div align="center" style="text-align: center;">
She is the runner, so I haven't been able to get a photo of it yet.</div>
<div align="center" style="text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div align="center" style="text-align: center;">
We have another baby, but she's not photogenic.</div>
<div align="center" style="text-align: center;">
The best part is they go from these soaking wet bundle.</div>
<div align="center" style="text-align: center;">
To this FLUFFY baby that you want to cuddle and pet.</div>
<div align="center" style="text-align: center;">
Then they get some confidence and get away from their mommas some.</div>
<div align="center" style="text-align: center;">
Then game on. They run, buck, chase, attack the ground and try to sneak up on the dogs.</div>
<div align="center" style="text-align: center;">
It's the most wonderful thing in the world to watch them be born. </div>
<div align="center" style="text-align: center;">
Then grow and thrive and get those personalities.</div>
<div align="center" style="text-align: center;">
It never gets old and I wish everyone could experience it.</div>
<div align="center" style="text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div align="center" style="text-align: center;">
Have a wonderful day!</div>

<a href="http://2.bp.blogspot.com/--5PuHkIIlZg/UT_ZAe3dAvI/AAAAAAAAEuc/_Z88D113XTA/s1600/DSC_0096.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="320" psa="true" src="http://2.bp.blogspot.com/--5PuHkIIlZg/UT_ZAe3dAvI/AAAAAAAAEuc/_Z88D113XTA/s320/DSC_0096.jpg" width="249" /></a></div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
14 years ago today I married The Mister.<br />
I was excited, scared and so incredibly happy.<br />
I never planned to get married and have kids, until he came along.<br />
<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="http://1.bp.blogspot.com/-Xac5HhHMj-8/UUBeYSYIyxI/AAAAAAAAEuo/ICIsqCvMXKc/s1600/md.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="320" psa="true" src="http://1.bp.blogspot.com/-Xac5HhHMj-8/UUBeYSYIyxI/AAAAAAAAEuo/ICIsqCvMXKc/s320/md.jpg" width="233" /></a></div>
<br />
We worked together when we met.<br />
We started dating in June, engaged in October and then married in March.<br />
We were young to say the least!<br />
<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="http://2.bp.blogspot.com/-OuhY6Q8hUzQ/UUBedBNlh1I/AAAAAAAAEuw/It8c8YcMtEg/s1600/05-26-2008+10;28;04AM.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="212" psa="true" src="http://2.bp.blogspot.com/-OuhY6Q8hUzQ/UUBedBNlh1I/AAAAAAAAEuw/It8c8YcMtEg/s320/05-26-2008+10;28;04AM.jpg" width="320" /></a></div>
The Mister with Hank when we moved to the farm.<br />
<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="http://2.bp.blogspot.com/-nryrRZ-0FSE/UUBej8eM63I/AAAAAAAAEu4/YF_U_PqJCPc/s1600/967.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="320" psa="true" src="http://2.bp.blogspot.com/-nryrRZ-0FSE/UUBej8eM63I/AAAAAAAAEu4/YF_U_PqJCPc/s320/967.jpg" width="320" /></a></div>
<br />
We are older, wiser, have gray hair, wrinkles and wouldn't change a thing.<br />
We have been through some of the worst things together.<br />
And stood by each other through it all.<br />
I love that we have our life together, yet are able to do our own thing.<br />
<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="http://4.bp.blogspot.com/-NJtdXShFJUY/UUBeutTHm0I/AAAAAAAAEvA/s-5-02jea2g/s1600/family2.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="320" psa="true" src="http://4.bp.blogspot.com/-NJtdXShFJUY/UUBeutTHm0I/AAAAAAAAEvA/s-5-02jea2g/s320/family2.jpg" width="212" /></a></div>
<br />
14 years has gone by incredibly fast.<br />
So here's to another 14 years!<br />
<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="http://1.bp.blogspot.com/-fRA14bsE0cg/UUBfHlwJoeI/AAAAAAAAEvI/BJsHvXy9cDo/s1600/vintage+3.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="320" psa="true" src="http://1.bp.blogspot.com/-fRA14bsE0cg/UUBfHlwJoeI/AAAAAAAAEvI/BJsHvXy9cDo/s320/vintage+3.jpg" width="212" /></a></div>
</div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
We met, became friends and started a life together.<br />
Most importantly we have two great kids.<br />
Our life on the farm. Amazing friends and family.<br />
And through the good, bad and everything in between, we are doing it together!<br />
<br />
Happy Anniversary Mister....</div>

12 years ago today we welcomed our first child.</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
Little Mister was the best baby!</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
He started sleeping all night at 3 days.</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
He hardly ever cried.</div>

On Wednesday my babes get home a little earlier than normal. And they love that! This past Wednesday was very exciting for them. We live on a farm and there is lots to see and learn. The Mister and I share all aspects of this life with the babes. We want to teach them everything so that they can be a part of it all. They will one day run this farm. Little Lady is treated no different than her brother. They work with the brood cattle, show cattle, breeding, calving, planting, hay and harvest. They are in the trucks, tractors, skid steer and semi. The more knowledge they have the safer they will be when they are out with us.<br />
<br />
Right now the big question is "did we have a new baby?" They ask first thing in the morning, when they get home from school and after the last check before bedtime. Their is excitement when there is and groans when there isn't. We have talked to several people who have mentioned that their calves are coming early. We move the mommas to the calving lot at 10 days before their due date. Our first calf came 8 days early and number 2 just one day. We currently have 3 that we are watching closely. The cattle are checked several times a day and when one shows signs of going we will check during the night.<br />
<br />
<br />
<table align="center" cellpadding="0" cellspacing="0" class="tr-caption-container" style="margin-left: auto; margin-right: auto; text-align: center;"><tbody>
<tr><td style="text-align: center;"><a href="http://3.bp.blogspot.com/-5S0KsapHDNA/UR46Z01XuAI/AAAAAAAAEpo/pc7KfZ7d7GI/s1600/photo2.JPG" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: auto; margin-right: auto;"><img border="0" height="320" src="http://3.bp.blogspot.com/-5S0KsapHDNA/UR46Z01XuAI/AAAAAAAAEpo/pc7KfZ7d7GI/s320/photo2.JPG" uea="true" width="239" /></a></td></tr>
<tr><td class="tr-caption" style="text-align: center;">1st calf is out of Little Ladies show heifer from last year.</td></tr>
</tbody></table>
On Wednesday one of the mommas was acting strangely so I decided to put off going to the grocery. I texted the Mister a few things I needed and asked him to stop before he left town. At about 2 I checked and momma was definitely in labor. So I let the Mister know. I went to the house and got all the baby shots ready. I stuck a post it note on the door for the babes to let them know I was in the barn with a cow calving. We give a round of things. A&D, nasal, selenium, bolus and we douse the naval good with iodine, and they get a tag. I trudged back to the barn and I saw a foot from the angle I was at and it was pointed right. After 30 mins and no progress I texted the Mister to let him know she had 15 minutes and then I was jumping in. I called the babes when I was sure they were in the house and told them to get their barn clothes on and come to the barn.<br />
<br />
After no more progress I let the Mister know that I was going to help and I would let him know when I was done. I had Little Lady give me the chains and gloves. I got the head out but I only had one leg. So I sleeved her and couldn't feel the other leg. So I asked the Little Mister to help me pull. We ended up pulling for a bit and out came the calf. The shoulder got caught on the pelvic bone because of how the leg was pointed the wrong way. Even with how hard it was to get HER out, she was up and at it in no time. The babes were troopers! Little Mister was super excited that he got to help deliver his first calf. Little Lady was great help making phone calls and giving us what we needed to get the calf out. <br />
<br />
<br />
<table align="center" cellpadding="0" cellspacing="0" class="tr-caption-container" style="margin-left: auto; margin-right: auto; text-align: center;"><tbody>
<tr><td style="text-align: center;"><a href="http://2.bp.blogspot.com/-vHpDzsilbrM/UR48twC8Z3I/AAAAAAAAEp0/SoPoU5WwJvg/s1600/25917_490810517643687_589822924_n.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: auto; margin-right: auto;"><img border="0" height="320" src="http://2.bp.blogspot.com/-vHpDzsilbrM/UR48twC8Z3I/AAAAAAAAEp0/SoPoU5WwJvg/s320/25917_490810517643687_589822924_n.jpg" uea="true" width="320" /></a></td></tr>
<tr><td class="tr-caption" style="text-align: center;">This is the calf we pulled.<br />
She is doing really well, and momma loves her.</td></tr>
</tbody></table>
It's so interesting when they try and explain some of the things we do to their friends, because they can't understand it. The kids just don't understand why their friends don't understand, when it is so second nature to them. So we let them know they have to explain it the best the can and answer any questions. Like showing cattle, helping with planting or harvest and helping a cow calve! The best part is their friends faces when they come over and see new things and all the space they have to run around. Life is awesome on the farm. We love sharing it with friends and family. Knowledge of this life is what helps keep people from making assumptions and wrong decisions about something they don't know about.<br />
<br />
Have a wonderful and safe weekend!<br />

Like everyone I have pet peeves. And it's funny and not so funny. My people know that I hate it. So every time it's said they giggle. So in all fairness I have to use their pet peeves against them. I guess to me it's like learning how to talk properly, you were taught as a young child. Otherwise you sound illiterate. And honestly that's not something I want our children to get into a habit of. Have a little respect for yourself. First impressions are sometimes the only one that you will get.<br />
<br />
ish<br />
1. Slang term often used to replace "shit." Derived from the process of editing the vocals of rap-songs by reversing the curse words so said song could be played on radio or television. <br />
<br />
<br />
"That's the dope ish"<br />
<br />
This to me is one of the dumbest things a person can say. It's even worse when people do it multiple times in a sentence. It's just poor English. So every time it's said in our house the evil eye is given. And when we are out and about and I hear someone say it, I just sigh. If only you knew how ridiculous you sound. I know it's a catchy thing to say, but I've never been one to do something just because everyone else is doing it.<br />
Buddy..<br />
This is one thing that drives me crazy. To hear someone call a young man Buddy. I'm sorry that is a name for a dog. My son, nephew and friends are not a dog. Our son has been called this multiple times my strangers, friends and family. I cringe every time. I have even told people "I'm sorry his name is -------, not buddy."<br />
Wearing your pajamas and or slippers in public.<br />
I'm all for being comfortable. But really it only takes a few seconds to put on a pair of britches! I guess I don't understand why people don't have enough respect for themselves to not take a few minutes to put your best foot forward. Or maybe that is your best foot! I have to admit I have bad hair days, days where I have some kind of manure on my clothes. Days where I just don't want to get gussied up. In all honesty, it only takes a few minutes to change your appearance from grungy to respectful. <br />
Spacious....<br />
It drives out Little Lady crazy. We always giggle every time that we are watching HGTV and it's said. When we want a good laugh we say it so we get the reaction that only she can do! She shivers, covers her ears and rolls her eyes...<br />
So on and So forth...<br />
It doesn't drive me crazy. But it's a running family joke in our house. So I had to add it so that when The Mister reads this he will laugh. That one doesn't affect us. It's a good laugh for us. <br />
<br />
I just think that like everything, we should speak as though we were taught. Well, I grew up way different than how people are raising their kids now. You speak your piece. Respect your elders. Don't cuss in the house, that's barn talk. You eat what your given. Dress respectfully. Say your prayers. And respect yourself enough to act like your parents are standing right next to you. Most importantly be yourself, not the image of what everyone else is. <br />
I believe that if more people conducted themselves like our elders did that our society would be in a much better place. We wouldn't see all the horrible things we see every time that we turn on the news. Dress appropriately. Respect your vows. Teach your children to say PLEASE and THANK YOU. Spend more time talking to people versus staring at your phone. Sit down and have a meal together. Do more as a family and less running around trying to outdo everyone else.<br />
The Mister and I have rules that we try and live by. Rules that we enforce in and out of our house. We believe that how we treat others and each other is what our children should do. Children will will do as they are taught and what they learn at home. We always tell the babes that if you wouldn't do it if we were standing there, then you shouldn't be doing it. That how you act not only reflects you but our family.<br />

<div style="text-align: center;">
Friendships are a part of us as anything else we do everyday.</div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
They are almost like a marriage with the give and take.</div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="http://1.bp.blogspot.com/-7fxUfWjkw34/UQ_tvFHb5pI/AAAAAAAAElI/w8z1IccV00Y/s1600/untitled-9-5.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" ea="true" height="212" src="http://1.bp.blogspot.com/-7fxUfWjkw34/UQ_tvFHb5pI/AAAAAAAAElI/w8z1IccV00Y/s320/untitled-9-5.jpg" width="320" /></a></div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
</div>
I am one of those people that when I meet someone for the first time I know immediately if I will like them or not. The Mister always makes fun of me for this. I am picky about who my friends are. And I say this now because that used to not be the case. But like many marriages these days I was treated poorly and the friendship ended. I hate when this happens, but once I sit back and think about it it's usually for the best.<br />
<br />
My first and everlasting friendship was with my mom. She was amazing. Growing up there wasn't anything we couldn't share with her. She always gave us advice and left it up to us to choose our path. We always spent a lot of time talking and sharing. And when our babies came she was an amazing Mammaw. I have a piece missing in my heart for the love, kindness and friendship we shared. And there are so many times when I want to talk to her or share something with her. One of these days I will have so much to tell her!<br />
<br />
My husband is one of my best friends. Corny I know. But he has seen me go through some very horrible things. And he has stood by me. Through the screaming, crying, sickness and changes. And he's always there to put a smile on my face and tell me what I need to hear. Not what I want to hear. And he takes me at my best and worst. He likes me the way I am and doesn't expect me to change. He's the one that makes me want to be a better person. He has helped me through the trials of the last couple of years. And best of all he made me a mommy two our beauties!<br />
<br />
Another person that I am lucky to have is my MIL. She isn't your normal MIL. We had a rough start and we still have our ups and downs. But if we didn't it wouldn't be normal. She is a great grandma to our babes. We talk several times a week, we enjoy each others company when we are together. And she makes me laugh with her quirkiness. She has never tried to take the place of my mom for me or our babes and that is a testament of her love to me.<br />
<br />
I am lucky over the last couple of years to become friends with some wonderful people. Both men and women. And these are the people that I confide in, hang out with, and bounce ideas off of. The people that I trust in our home and with our babes.<br />
Jess and Molly have been there since I was a teenager. We have been through some crazy things together. And they know me so well. And they always make me smile and know what to say when I need it. We don't see each other every day. But when we do see each other or chat it's just like we do it every day!<br />
<br />
Denise is my strong willed friend. She's the one that like me she tells you how it is, take it or leave it. She's the friend that is never afraid to come out and help me. She loves our babes like they are her own. She's my hero for being the brave cancer fighter she is. For showing amazing courage, strength and positive attitude through it all. If only more people were like that.<br />
<br />
Melissa is my friend and my SIL. She is my goofy make me laugh my butt off friend. She has the most outgoing, fun loving free spirit. Her laugh is contagious and we have so much fun together. And she is the momma to my little niece and nephew. She would give you the shirt off her back no questions asked. She is so loving and willing to do anything to help anyone.<br />
<br />
Julie is my inspirational friend. She is so comfortable in her own skin. She is an amazing momma to 3 great kids. She is a business woman with wonderful drive. And I love seeing her. And could just talk to her for hours. She makes me want to move to Missouri and raise kids and cattle so we can be closer!<br />
<br />
Dave V. and Ted J. are great cattlemen that I have met. I respect them as friends and fellow cattle lovers. I love talking cattle with them. Bouncing ideas off them. That even though I'm a women they treat me with respect. It also helps that they make me laugh, a LOT!<br />
<br />
Then there is Christy, Sandra, Dawn, Cathy, Katie, Betsy, Kim, Amber, Jennie and Emily. Who are all amazing women who I am proud to call my friends. Who each has helped me in so many different ways. Who have taught me what true friends are. That I can be me and that's all I need to be. Thank you ladies for letting be a part of your world.<br />
<br />
And I also have some wonderful blogging friends. I have not met them in person. But they are always so supportive, kind and caring. They are the people that leave comments. That read our blog. And make us want to keep sharing and showing what a crazy life we have sometimes. Thank You!<br />
<br />
Friendships come and go. Some are meant to be short term. Some long lasting. Each are meant to teach us something. I have learned that you only get what you give. That you don't always get to choose how your friendships will grow or end. That not every one is meant to be. But that you should take something from each and every experience. That if you have to work too hard at that maybe, just maybe it's not meant to be. But most of all I have learned that there are still people that I can trust. Anyone who is in or around livestock can get their dander up in a heartbeat when someone attacks what you love. A few days ago an individual left a comment on a wonderful couples facebook page regarding show cattle. Whether this person left that comment to be malicious, didn't know what they were talking about or just made a comment without thought is something that left a bitter taste in a lot peoples mouths. I don't feel that we should attack anyone for their opinion, everyone is entitled. But I also feel that if you make a comment you have to be prepared to defend what you say. And i also feel that when people make a comment about something they are unaware of, that they need to be educated. So here is me educating about treatment of show cattle!<br />
<br />
Show cattle are one of the most pampered animals. Their births are planned out very specifically. The bull and cow are picked specifically to make a show animal. An animal that will show the best of it's breed and it lineage. Once they are chosen to be a show prospect. The day to day care increases. They are usually in a show barn where they are interacted with daily and multiple times. These calves are trained to walk on a halter and lead just like you would train your dog to walk on a leash. They have special bedding to make it easy to keep them clean. There is always fresh water available. Their feed is usually a custom bag feed or a specialty mix made just for them. It is weighed and each gets their own feed. Show calves are given baths to condition and take care of their hair. They are then put in a chute where they are combed and blown dry with a high powered dryer. The chute they are put in is for their safety and yours. It doesn't hurt them at all. It even has a padded floor to make them comfortable. Also when they are in the chute is when they get their hair clipped to make them look their best. It's called fitting them. It's basically like going to a hair salon for us. When they are done, they are shiny, fluffy and a beautiful example of their breed.<br />

Show cattle are exposed to many different environments. Ours are exposed to dogs, cats, equipment and have a radio that plays all day for them. They are tied each day, either standing or laying for certain amounts of time every day to get them used to the times when they will be at shows. They are kept under turbo fans to keep them cool and help grow their hair. When we are walking the cattle it lets them learn how fast or slow you want them to walk. They are also taught how to be set up to make them eye appealing when they are shown. It's basically making them square and standing in a relaxing stance. Then they have their bellies scratched with a show stick. It's very calming and they are relaxed. Usually chewing their cud and just taking in their surroundings.<br />

Show cattle have their feet trimmed to keep their feet in good shape. Just like you would trim your fingernails to keep them from growing too long. The cattle are given vaccinations just like you would get to keep you healthy and from getting sick. Their needs come before our own. They live better than most people do. They very quickly become a part of your family. We take new birth with excitement and every loss personally.<br />

<tr><td class="tr-caption" style="text-align: center;">she loves him!</td></tr>
</tbody></table>
I'm sure it's mind boggling to some why we do what we do. But we love it. It's a labor of love breeding, calving and raising cattle. It's not a 9-5 job. It's a job you have to do no matter what the weather. And the best part of showing the cattle is all the wonderful friends that we have made. They are our show family and we love them. We also love the traveling and getting to see new places. But the most wonderful thing is that we do this as a family and we are together. And the bond that our children have with these animals is amazing. Even after they are done in the show ring and are turned out to be just cattle, that bond continues. Several of our cattle are past show cattle and they still come up to you and want you to scratch them and rub them.<br />
<br />
<table align="center" cellpadding="0" cellspacing="0" class="tr-caption-container" style="margin-left: auto; margin-right: auto; text-align: center;"><tbody>

<tr><td style="text-align: center;"><a href="http://3.bp.blogspot.com/-WAph7ExEMJw/UQq0EbgTWaI/AAAAAAAAEkE/iYF_LU5MMv8/s1600/untitled-24-2.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: auto; margin-right: auto;"><img border="0" ea="true" height="320" src="http://3.bp.blogspot.com/-WAph7ExEMJw/UQq0EbgTWaI/AAAAAAAAEkE/iYF_LU5MMv8/s320/untitled-24-2.jpg" width="212" /></a></td></tr>
<tr><td class="tr-caption" style="text-align: center;">the aftermath of a fitting</td></tr>
</tbody></table>
So my words to anyone that thinks that show cattle or any of our animals are mistreated, come to our farm. Or go to a cattle show and truly watch how the animals are cared for. Ask any cattleman or woman and they would be glad to share their love for cattle. Be informed and learn from someone that does it on a daily basis. Not just because you have heard or you assume.<br />

<br />
<br />
<div align="center">
I have been doing some serious decluttering.</div>
<div align="center">
I have been decluttering emotionally, physically and in our house.</div>
<div align="center">
I have to tell you it's a wonderful feeling to be getting back to me.</div>
<div align="center">
To feel comfortable in my own skin. To feel confident in the relationships that I have.</div>
<div align="center">
And to let go of the toxic things in my life</div>
<div align="center">
<br /></div>
<div align="center">
This hasn't been a quick fix type of thing.</div>
<div align="center">
I have been going through this process for the last 2 years.</div>
<div align="center">
I know that sounds like for forever, but baby steps are best!</div>
<div align="center">
<br /></div>
<div align="center">
I have realized finally that no one makes decisions for me.</div>
<div align="center">
That I can say no to people, even though I still feel bad sometimes.</div>
<div align="center">
I know that even though I'm alone most of the day, I need to do something just for me.</div>
<div align="center">
That I owe no one an explanation.</div>
<div align="center">
That I am who I am if you don't like it, that's your opinion and I can't change it.</div>
<div align="center">
That even though I don't like it, I can't fix everything for everyone else.</div>
<div align="center">
That sometimes even though I don't agree, I'm just going to walk away.</div>
<div align="center">
That it's better to be silent than to say something.</div>
<div align="center">
<br /></div>
<div align="center">
I have had to make changes once again in my diet.</div>
<div align="center">
My stomach that has been a constant problem for the past 3 years, is just not going to change.</div>
<div align="center">
So it's back to what will probably just be how it is going to be.</div>
<div align="center">
And that's okay once you do something for so long it becomes a habit.</div>
<div align="center">
<br /></div>
<div align="center">
Our home is slowly being cleaned room by room.</div>
<div align="center">
I think I'm in a nesting pattern waiting for warm weather, calves to come and all the business of spring!</div>
<div align="center">
It's a great feeling to get rid of things that I know we don't need or won't use.</div>
<div align="center">
And it's like a whole new room after I rearrange and change the look of a room.</div>
<div align="center">
I have even painted and hung photos and paintings that have been hidden away.</div>
<div align="center">
<br /></div>
<div align="center">
For me it has been a long process for many reasons.</div>
<div align="center">
I haven't wanted to face my demons. Or for me the fact that I feel like I have to take on the world.</div>
<div align="center">
It's been a journey that my wonderful Mister has helped me so much with.</div>
<div align="center">
And I still struggle every day, but with my Mister and my babies everything will fall into place.</div>
<div align="center">
I have a wonderful network of a select friends who are amazing and supportive.</div>

<div style="text-align: center;">
Something has been on my mind and I hope you don't mind if I share and maybe ramble a bit.</div>
<div style="text-align: left;">
It seems lately that there is a lot of people who are getting Cancer. Yes the dreaded C word that no one wants to hear. The word that in seconds puts your whole world spinning off it's axis. The word that instantly can define what your world will become. My worry is anymore that it's not who has gotten the diagnosis but when. I truly believe that it is a product of our environment. It used to be said it was a family trait, but that doesn't seem to be the case anymore. Like so many of you that dreaded word has been a part of my life more times than I really care for. And I believe it has made to a much stronger person.</div>
<div style="text-align: left;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: left;">
As many of you may or may not know my mom lost her battle in 2003. She had been ill for a while and the Dr.s were going through the gambit of trying to figure out what was making her so ill. At first thought it was diabetes, ruled out. Then her heart, she had stints. Then her gall bladder, it was healthy but an 8cm tumor was found. That's the day the world changed. After that day it was a crazy amount of Dr.s appointments and calls and medicines. There was a hospital stay, treatment, tears, fears and questions. Then four months almost to the day the dreaded call. My brother called and told me the worst of my fears.</div>
<div style="text-align: left;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: left;">
Since that time I have had an aunt battle breast cancer and an uncle who is currently fighting. I also have had the second scare of my life when my best friend was diagnosed. Due to a dog she was working with that injured her she went to the Dr. and was diagnosed very early. Thankfully treatment went well and she is still here with all those that love her. There are so many every day that you hear about. No one seems to go untouched.</div>
<div style="text-align: left;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: left;">
My words of advice from a girl who lost her best friend, mentor, inspiration and mammaw to my beauties. Don't wait till you get horrible news. Live each day as it's meant to be lived. Wake up a little early, enjoy a sunrise. Watch your babies while they are sleeping. Turn off the radio in the car and have a conversation. Surprise someone with a card or call. But most of all if you are put in a horrible situation where you have a loved one who is ill do something for everyone. Take lots of pictures good and bad. Don't delete them or get rid of them when your emotions are raw and fresh. Take videos of our loved ones. And the most important of all "Say what you mean and mean what yous say" to those people. Ask any question you have ever wanted to ask. And say everything you have wanted to say. Because no matter how big or small it may seem at the time you will be glad you did.</div>
<div style="text-align: left;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: left;">
Thanks for letting ramble. I hope you take a little time today and just be.</div>

Hi! Remember us? We have been enjoying lots of family time lately. </div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
The Mister is home the most right now, so we have been soaking it up.</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
Because spring is almost here and then I will become a corn widow.</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
And the babies will get to see Mr. Daddy on a limited bases.</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
It's ok. We love that he has a job that he loves. And I am able to be home.</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
So here and there I have been nesting in a sense.</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
I am getting every room in the house reorganized, decluttered.</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
I have even rearranged furniture and painted.</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
This is my way of getting ready for calving and spring.</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
Once calving starts the house is on the bottom of the list.</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
And well when spring gets here, I don't want to be in the house!</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
I have an anniversary and birthday coming up.</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
And I REALLY want one of these Neat Desk scanners!</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
They make my OCD self very happy.</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
Scan everything and you can store it on your computer.</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
Then it can be sorted and organized for when you need or want it.</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
You should take a look.</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
I'm so crazy about this idea.</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
I have even thought about trying it for the 30 days.</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
So I'm having serious conversations with myself about to get it or not.</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
We shall see. The Mister just laughs when I get all excited when the commercial comes on.</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
I love weird things I know! </div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
But to declutter and have it all where I can easily get it, LOVE!</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<table align="center" cellpadding="0" cellspacing="0" class="tr-caption-container" style="margin-left: auto; margin-right: auto; text-align: center;"><tbody>
<tr><td style="text-align: center;"><a href="http://1.bp.blogspot.com/-p8-HmO0AL6M/UQZtXWs0xkI/AAAAAAAAEew/MbqGTfUhdZA/s1600/NeatDeskPC_medium.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: auto; margin-right: auto;"><img border="0" oea="true" src="http://1.bp.blogspot.com/-p8-HmO0AL6M/UQZtXWs0xkI/AAAAAAAAEew/MbqGTfUhdZA/s1600/NeatDeskPC_medium.jpg" /></a></td></tr>
<tr><td class="tr-caption" style="text-align: center;">The desktop scanner. It's not too large.<br />
And zippity zip and less clutter!</td></tr>
</tbody></table>
<br />
<table align="center" cellpadding="0" cellspacing="0" class="tr-caption-container" style="margin-left: auto; margin-right: auto; text-align: center;"><tbody>
<tr><td style="text-align: center;"><a href="http://3.bp.blogspot.com/-cQXN_H1yUMU/UQZtYvGJIsI/AAAAAAAAEe4/q3dGxPlXqUk/s1600/NeatReceiptsPC_small.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: auto; margin-right: auto;"><img border="0" oea="true" src="http://3.bp.blogspot.com/-cQXN_H1yUMU/UQZtYvGJIsI/AAAAAAAAEe4/q3dGxPlXqUk/s1600/NeatReceiptsPC_small.jpg" /></a></td></tr>
<tr><td class="tr-caption" style="text-align: center;">This is the portable scanner .<br />
I think this would be great if I don't want to be tied to my desk.<br />
<br />
<br />
For those of you that hate clutter and like everything tidy and in one place.<br />
Take a look and tell me what you think!<br />
Have a great week everyone....</td></tr>

<a href="http://2.bp.blogspot.com/-pUrZNTKZP2U/UPGm3Mn6fYI/AAAAAAAAEWM/4aYxfwz55kM/s1600/untitled-2-3.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="400" src="http://2.bp.blogspot.com/-pUrZNTKZP2U/UPGm3Mn6fYI/AAAAAAAAEWM/4aYxfwz55kM/s400/untitled-2-3.jpg" width="266" /></a></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
I'm not sure what to think of the crazy weather.</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
It's January and it's in the 50's. </div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
We are preparing for a heavy rain that is headed our way.</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
Now if it is this warm say the middle of February, I won't mind.</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
I would love to let the cows out in the maternity pasture and calve out in the sun.</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
I worry lots when it's cold and snowy when calving starts.</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
Poor babies tend to get chilled, get sick or get frostbite.</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
And the other side is with all this rain, calves are more acceptable to infections and cold.</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
I hope that everyone that has started calving is having a good go of it.</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
Have a wonderful weekend!</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">

<br /></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
I have been busy, much to our children's distress.</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
I have OCD and tidiness and organization makes me very happy.</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
I have went room by room lately and started decluttering.</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
And I try and not bother the kids rooms, but ugghhh.</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
I just couldn't take it anymore.</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
So I have spent the last 3 days moving furniture and organizing their rooms.</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
Sigh, now I can go in there without cringing.</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="http://3.bp.blogspot.com/-0zgwEwPQCjk/UO_7DVeEqqI/AAAAAAAAEU0/psQVkE1R9Lk/s1600/Duff%2B2.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="266" src="http://3.bp.blogspot.com/-0zgwEwPQCjk/UO_7DVeEqqI/AAAAAAAAEU0/psQVkE1R9Lk/s400/Duff%2B2.jpg" width="400" /></a></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
Duff is trying to make friends with a few of the cats that still don't like him.</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="http://1.bp.blogspot.com/-6_0D_dED9tQ/UO_7Ef5KkXI/AAAAAAAAEVA/zoAph4rfKZo/s1600/jan%2B13-17.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="400" src="http://1.bp.blogspot.com/-6_0D_dED9tQ/UO_7Ef5KkXI/AAAAAAAAEVA/zoAph4rfKZo/s400/jan%2B13-17.jpg" width="266" /></a></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
The snow is almost all melted, but then it refreezes.</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
Which makes for a nice skating rink on my walk to the barn.</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="http://4.bp.blogspot.com/-qECcR8bq__Y/UO_7FOnKSCI/AAAAAAAAEVM/vLAH2TUI4xE/s1600/jan%2B13-16.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="400" src="http://4.bp.blogspot.com/-qECcR8bq__Y/UO_7FOnKSCI/AAAAAAAAEVM/vLAH2TUI4xE/s400/jan%2B13-16.jpg" width="266" /></a></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
It's unusually warm here for the next few days.</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
And the poor cows are so hot. They are haired up for winter not 60 degrees.</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
And then its supposed to drop back to the 30 in a few days.</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
I hope that everyone can stay healthy with all of these dramatic changes in weather.</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
Have a wonderful weekend with your families and friends.</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
We have a full weekend planned and I will have all my people home!</div>
