Our House Remodel..

As many of you know, last year we had horrible hail storms. 

The hail we received was the size of golf balls. 

 I actually froze some in the freezer just in case for insurance.

Well, the storm left behind extensive damage to the house and barns. 

After getting with the insurance company.

Then with the contractor.

And then we had to pick siding style, colors and what all we wanted done.

Then theres working around work schedules, farming and weather.

So now over a year later, we are mostly done with the outside.

We are hoping to put a covered porch on the front and and an uncovered on the side in the spring.

We are definitely happy with the results!

we kept the glass at the top of the old door and put in a patio door.  Love all the light now!
next spring the plan is to put a covered porch on the front



the sidewalk used to lead to a back door and we got rid of it and replaced it with a window




much more eye appealing with three windows.  and theres more air movement and light





new doors and next spring we plan to do a porch on this side.

i was so happy to see this go.  i just love the patio door!
