And please sit down because this will shock you: but I barely touched my camera! I decided to be in the moment and relax. But I did take a few.
We try and do something different every year just for fun, with a few traditional dishes. Due to some circumstances my SIL and I did most of the cooking. Mr. M and his brother JD cooked on the grill. And my FIL did some cooking of his own. We did a surf and turf meal. And it was so yummy! We had shrimp cocktail, scallops, fillet w/bacon wrapped around it, scalloped potatoes, green bean casserole, Greek salad, candied sweet potatoes and rolls. And then of course there is dessert! There is always so much good food.
So here a few of the photos that I did take. I hope you have a great Wednesday!
JD catching a few zzzz's with Miss Harley. |
We had a key lime pie. And there wasn't a single piece left! |
Italian Lemon Fruit cake. I cannot describe how yummy this is. We drizzled it with red raspberry and blackberry sauce. |
Yes, this is it and it is heaven on a plate! |
