We recently we to Sedalia, Missouri. It was for the Simmental Jr. Nationals. We had a great time. We spent eight days learning and showing for the breed that our son has chosen. Everyday there is a contest, quiz or judging to do. And after you do at least four of the six contests, you can show your calf. It was a good experience for our Little Man. He is somewhat of an introvert. So he had to go out and talk to people and do things that he normally doesn't do. I don't want to rush things, but it will be interesting to see how he is in a couple of years. And in December Little Miss will be showing and hopefully we can find her a good Simmental heifer too. We are slowly building a very nice base for what we believe to be a good Simmental herd. And I can't wait to see what the future holds for our family. Happy Wednesday!

Enjoyed the pictures! That one of "little man" making faces is too cute! Our state is having a big jr cattlemen round-up this weekend. I'm hoping to go and watch and learn! Happy day!:)
I love your pictures. And the hip height picture comment made me crack up. Glad your kids had such an awesome time. I loved speaking to the Junior Simmental leadership conference today. When you kids are old enough they'll have to attend.
