Project Time!

Sorry for not posting. We have been getting buckets of rain rail lately. We got almost 2 inches in one day!
Anyway, we have been busy getting projects ready for Garrett's first year in 4-H. He is doing Safe Shooters, Cattle, Sheep and Hogs. So we have his posterboard ready and now its time to start clipping everything.
The posterboard is due on thursday. And then next week is the actual fair. Sheep on sunday and monday. Hogs on tuesday and cattle on fri. With an auction on tuesday and friday.
It's a little stressfull with Marks new job and getting everything ready. But I am volunteering my time to take pictures for the kids again. So i'm a little nervous. All should be good!

Macro

A friend of mine let me borrow her macro lens. So I am trying it out. Its a lot of fun and frustration. Sometimes pictures dont turn out the way that i think they should. but thats the fun in learning!

Up close

If you haven't figured it out yet, I have a small obsession with noses and eyes! I am drawn to them for some unexplainable reason. And with Hank I am trying to capture all the things I love about him, just in case the vet is right. (i dont think he is, just sayin)

SOOOO, to play catch up. Sorry for any neglect you may feel at my not posting regularly. I just fine myself being called outdoors! I LOVE summer and all there is to do outside.
Anyway, the other night as I was walking through the kitchen I looked out the window and saw this. I just had to caputure it. It makes my heart sing just to look at it and calms me!
