This was taken a while back. Our corn is taller than me now. But i like this picture, so i'm sharing it. Garrett was checkin out the corn and stopped to talk to me. I looked down and this is what I saw. The boy LOVES mud. The more the happier he is!

The Queen

This is Maxwell our rooster. We got him as a chick and raised him. We sold him and a few months ago got him back. He's a Barred Rock.. he has 19 girls that he protects. But you have to watch him cause he will sneak up on you.

2010 Rush County Fair

2010 Rush County Fair went well. I'm very proud of the Dawson Boys. Garrett got Champion Simmental Heifer, Tyler won in Sheep/Beef Showmanship & had Grand Champion Heifer and Cody had Reserve Champion Heifer. Our family had 4 out of the 8 cattle in the grand drive for cattle! So happy to see all their hard work pay off.

The New Kid

The new kid! This is Duff, our 10 week old aussie. He's super smart and soo adorable! Kimber loves him cause he runs around with her, hank growls cause he's kinda grumpy that way and Harley doesnt like him cause he's bigger than her. So fun havin a puppy again.

Growin & Showin

Garrett is in his first year of 4-H and wasnt sure what he wanted to do. He did Cattle, Sheep, Hogs and Safe Shooters! So we had a full barn.

Mahlia of course to not be outdone, showed in the open shows. She LOVES the sheep. So in 2 years when she starts showing, big brother is gonna have to put his game face on!
